On 14th November, 2023 the Port Authority collaboration model was presented. The model, which is line with the 12th line of the Strategic Framework for the State-Owned Port System and the SDGs, is the result of many conversations and interviews with advisers and representatives of our stakeholders. Its purpose is to develop the port of A Coruña and its wharf in Arteixo using clear environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria and also to influence the metropolitan area of A Coruña responsibly towards bringing about greater collective well-being today and in the future.

Our collaboration model is organised along three lines:

  • To be a port that listens and communicates.
  • To be a port that forges links to and becomes involved in matters on which we have something to say.
  • To be a port that proposes and creates alliances.

The Sustainability Dialogues, which include the Humboldt Dialogues, make it possible to connect our collaboration model with the latest topics identified with the greatest impact on the port’s sustainability and areas of influence. The topics always deal with the environmental, social and governance dimensions and the goal is to listen, discuss and propose lines of work and specific collaboration projects.
