TUGBOAT SERVICES IN THE PORT

Tugboat services are considered as those destined to help manoeuvre vessels on the instructions of its captain, using one or more tugs that use their engine power or accompany the vessel within the waters of the service zone of the port.

MAXIMUM RATES BY SERVICE, GROSS TONNAGE (G.T.) VESSEL, REGARDLESS OF THE AREA AND THE NUMBER OF TUGBOATS USED AND ORIGIN OR DESTINATION OF VESSEL.
In passenger ships, the rates are for the use of a tugboat. In case requesting service of more tugboats, your tariff in the second and following shall be 50 % of the rate set for each.

Application Conditions
Scope of the service
The service includes all of the manoeuvres required to move a vessel from its initial position (arriving, mooring, anchoring) to a final position (mooring, anchoring, departing), any day of the year at any time.
Escort Service
This includes the manoeuvres required to accompany vessels from their mooring points to the interior of the port when entering, or vice-versa when departing the port.
All petrol tankers or vessels transporting special or hazardous goods with a GT of 15,000 tonnes or more, or vessels with mechanical problems, must be accompanied by a tugboat providing this service.
Required complementary conditions
- The docking and undocking services include anchoring services.
- Services to switch to a ship dock within the same basin have a surcharge of twenty five percent (25%) of the base rate of one service. The amended at the same pier will be billed as a single service.
- Services at anchorage will get a discount of fifty percent (50%) the base rate.
- For services canceled before starting, be billed thirty percent (30%) of what had been billed conducted.
- Services for ships without machine (in service area) or in dry dock, shall bear a surcharge of 100%.
- Special services, escort (as a specific service), stand-by and drive:
- - For each tugboat of power <= 3,000 HP 450 €/hour
- - For each tugboat of power > 3,000 HP 750 €/hour
- In case of delay in performing the maneuver for reasons attributable to the vessel, in 30 minutes, a surcharge of 10% is established.
- In case of the delay is attributable to the breach provider time response in 30 minutes, it bonuses to rate same amount the fee specified for the ship in the previous paragraph.
Entry and exit vessels standard
Tankers and those carrying goods of special dangerousness and its dead weight equal or greater than 15,000 TM and ships with fault or newly repaired, shall be accompanied by a tugboat escort, save to determine the Harbour Master in this regard.
