MOORING AND UNMOORING OF VESSELS

The mooring service is understood as the service whose purpose making fast a vessel by taking its lines and attaching them to fixtures on quays or jetties, following instructions from the captain of the vessel, in the mooring sector designated by the Port Authority, and in the appropriate order and layout in order to facilitate docking, unmooring and unberthing operations.
The unmooring service is understood as the service whose object is to release and cast off the lines of a vessel from the fixtures to which it is moored, following the sequence and instructions issued by the captain, and without affecting the mooring conditions of contiguous vessels.

Conditions for Application
Scope of the Service
These maximum charges are understood for each mooring or unmooring service, conducted at any time of the day and on any day of the year.
Change of anchorage service
For a change of anchorage with displacement of the vessel on the same quay, where it is not necessary to change all the lines (S/AL), one single operation will be invoiced.
For a change of anchorage with displacement of less than one length of the vessel on the same quay, in which it is necessary to change all lines (C/AL), or to change quay (C/Q), two (2) operations will be invoiced (mooring and unmooring). In the event that said manoeuvre is performed without tugs, an additional service will be invoiced.
For a change of anchorage with displacement greater than or equal to the length of the vessel on the same quay, in which all the lines need to be changed (C/AL), three (3) operations will be invoiced. In the event that said manoeuvre is performed without tugs, an additional service will be invoiced.
Surcharges
Any operation that is not cancelled at least half an hour before the set time, and which is subsequently not performed, shall be charged 50% of the rate corresponding to the service to be rendered.
Reductions
In the event of a delay in the provision of the service owing to grounds attributable to the service provider, the charge shall be reduced by the following amounts:
- If the delay is under half an hour: 0%
- If the delay is over half an hour and under one hour: 10%
- If the delay is over one hour and under two hours: 20%
- If the delay is over two hours: 30% per hour or fraction thereof.
